The Big Seek and Find
Une grande scène pleine de détails, où l'on cherche, pointe et nomme à tour de rôle.
Step by step
- Print 2 or 3 busy scene pictures (farm, house, market).
- First, let your child explore and chat about the picture freely, with no instructions.
- Ask "where's the tractor?", let them scan the page and point it out.
- Confirm and add more detail ("yes! the farmer's red tractor!"), then keep the search going.
- Swap roles: your child calls out items and you search slowly, making mistakes on purpose so they can correct you.
- Switch scenes and try two-clue searches ("the sleeping cat").
What it builds
Spotting the cat in a crowded picture takes focus without getting distracted, plus finding the words to name it. It builds attention span and vocabulary together, in a game kids never get tired of.
