Vocabulary Bingo

Un loto d'images : on pioche, on nomme à voix haute, on pose sur sa planche.

Step by step

  1. Print the boards twice and cut one copy into individual cards.
  2. Set up a board for each player (start with just one shared board) and stack the cards face down.
  3. Flip a card and SAY the word out loud: that's the main rule!
  4. Find the matching picture on the board and place the card on top.
  5. Fill the board together cooperatively first, then try taking turns with a board each. If your child wants to hoard all the cards, switch back to team mode: taking turns comes with age.
  6. Level up as you play: use 8-picture boards, mix similar categories (farm vs. jungle animals), or name the target BEFORE flipping.

What it builds

With every card named and matched, your child files a new word into the right category: animals, food, vehicles. And without even realizing it, they are learning their very first board game skills: drawing a card, waiting their turn, and finishing a game.
