The Panoramic Tunnel Book
Une frise d'images dressée en zigzag, que bébé longe à quatre pattes.
Step by step
- Print 8 to 10 varied pictures (animals, faces, everyday objects) and tape them together into a long accordion strip.
- Stand the strip up in a zig-zag on the rug, with baby placed at one end.
- Crouch at the other end and call them over gently.
- Follow along as they crawl around the zig-zag, naming each picture they spot. If they knock it down, just stand it back up—no big deal, that is part of the fun.
- Hide a small toy behind one panel and let them discover it as they turn the corner.
- Rearrange the panels for each new playtime; for younger babies, tape the strip flat against the wall right at floor level.
What it builds
Looking and moving team up: each turn hides a new picture, and baby has to crawl to see it. Curiosity leads the way, movement naturally follows.
