Paper Twister
Des feuilles de couleur en grille au sol, et une roue qui dit où poser main ou pied.
Step by step
- Print 12 to 16 sheets in 4 different colours and the spinner wheel with its arrow.
- Lay the sheets out in a grid on a non-slip floor, leaving enough space between them.
- Warm up with colours only ("jump on a red one!") to make sure everyone knows them.
- Add hands and feet, then left and right; a paper bracelet on the right wrist helps a lot at first.
- Start the game: spin the wheel and call out moves while players twist and stretch without falling. Tipping over just means a good laugh and starting fresh, no one gets eliminated.
- Pass the baton: let a child take over as the caller and announce the moves.
What it builds
Figuring out left from right while balancing on one foot is a great double challenge: it reinforces spatial awareness and builds muscle strength to hold poses. Lots of giggles make the effort completely painless.
