Letter Bingo

Un loto de lettres, en commençant par celles de son prénom.

Step by step

  1. Print the boards and letter cards, starting with the letters in your child's name.
  2. Say each letter's name AND the sound it makes (“this is A, it says ahhh”).
  3. Let them draw a card and try to name it, stepping in with gentle help if needed.
  4. Find the matching letter on the board and place the card right on top.
  5. Celebrate “their” special letters (“L for Leo!”): emotional connection makes learning click.
  6. Take it further: match uppercase with lowercase, then match letters to pictures that start with that sound.

What it builds

Realizing that this A is the exact same one in their own name is the real doorway to reading. Starting with THEIR letters makes the alphabet feel personal instead of abstract.
