Getting Dressed Sequence Cards

Les vêtements du matin en cartes, à remettre dans l'ordre avant de s'habiller.

Step by step

  1. Print 5 or 6 clothing cards (underwear, socks, pants, sweater, shoes).
  2. Spread the cards randomly across the table and ask, "What goes on first?"
  3. Try silly combinations for a laugh: "What if we put shoes on before pants?", try it out, and see what happens.
  4. Line up the cards in the order you agreed on together.
  5. Hang the sequence right by the bed or wardrobe.
  6. Every morning, your child follows THEIR sequence; sort summer/winter versions as the seasons change.

What it builds

Deciding at the table that underwear goes on before pants helps your child think through the steps before doing them for real. Come morning, they're not just following your orders—they're running their own plan, displayed right by the bed, getting dressed like a pro.
