Giant Animal Dice

Step by step

1. 1Print the die template, fold and glue it together, and stick an animal picture on each face.
2. 2Take turns rolling the die into the center of the room.
3. 3Call out the animal you roll (“Frog!”).
4. 4Move across the room like that animal, your own way—play along and be silly!
5. 5Mix it up: add different speeds (slow snail, fast cheetah) or link two animals together.
6. 6Let your child invent and draw new animals for the next die.

What it builds

Hopping like a frog, slithering like a snake, balancing like a flamingo: every animal moves the body differently. At this age, pretend play is pure magic—kids practice their coordination without even realizing it.
