4x4 Picture Sudoku
Des grilles 4x4 où quatre animaux n'apparaissent qu'une fois par ligne et par colonne.
Step by step
- Print the pre-filled 4x4 grids and animal cards, then cut them out.
- Explain THE rule: each animal can only appear once per row AND once per column.
- Solve the first grid together by thinking out loud ("this row already has the cat... who is missing?").
- Let your child take over: place the pictures loosely on the grid so they can move them and self-correct freely.
- Check the answers line by line, sliding a finger along each row and column.
- Level up: try grids with fewer clues, jump to 6x6, or let your child BUILD a puzzle for you to solve.
What it builds
"It's not the cat, not the duck... so it must be the bunny!": picture sudoku teaches reasoning by elimination with zero math involved. A fun logic puzzle for ages 4 to 6, with the pride of cracking the code all on their own.
